You are SOOOOO right, Suzy (and "hellion" isn't in my Shorter OED, though Hellenistic is: I take it you conform to spec and personally I would love to see 'a thousand ships' launched from the Thames in the general direction of the KCL).

Also, you must have better and fakir-like control over your nausea-knobs than I have, but the findings are ... well: commensurate.

Anyway... the general reader less clued up on psychos may take it from me the vast majority will feel very, very virtuous about strongly supporting the DSM-5, In The Name Of Evidence Based Science, while buying into their second or third house in la douce France (as is the case for quite a few of my 'psychological colleagues' of my age).

And the best hope for patients with ME here is really that real bio-medical research finds the cause of ME/CFS, whatever it is, that surely will happen eventually, unless the world gets blown up or changes into a totalitarian nightmare for generations, as alas may also happen.
