Introduction

Introduction

This is a Nederlog of Friday, December 25, 2015.

This is not a crisis log but is an update about my vitamins and my computer problems. There may or may not be a later Nederlog today, and this relates in
part to the fact that I have presently problems with a tooth.

1. Update about my vitamins

This continues the last monthly update about vitamins and ME, which is here. And here is what I am taking now since the end of November:
vitamin C: 3 grams:
The same as last month.
Calcium+vitamin D+vitamin K:
The same as last month. (This is 1 pill.)
Potassium: 2 pills a day
This gives 400 mg a day. (Same.)
Folic acid: 1 pills a day.
This gives 5000 mcg. (Increase by  2/3rd)
Magnesium: 1 pill a day.
This gives the daily required amount, together with Multi Total. (Same.)
Zinc (citrate): 1 pill a day
This gives 50 mg. New.
vit B5: 250 mg. New.
Vit mB12 5000 mcg: 1 pill a day. (Same.)
Vit aB12 3000 mcg: 1 pill a day. (Same.)
vit mB12 1000 mcg: 1 pill a day. (Same.)
Multi Total: 2 pills a day. (Same.)
This gives the daily recommend dosage (which is much too low
in vitamins, but is sufficient in minerals).
That is mostly as it was before (and I am 6 ft 4 and over 80 kilos) but there also are several differences in what I took. Here they are:
  • My vitamin shop had a 5000 mcg folic acid supplement, so I took that, and have been trying that for some 3 weeks: Not much of a noticeable difference.
  • zinc citrate: 50 mg. This is an experiment, and I am taking magnesium.
Again not much of a noticeable difference.
  • vit B5: 250 mcg. An experiment. It did several times give me more energy. Not much of a noticeable difference.
  • vit B6: I stopped taking this because it was a lot and because taking
a lot less may help solve some small problems. No noticeable difference, once again.
So all in all the new things I took and the old that I left out did not make much of a noticeable difference, while I also continued as I did last month, which was fairly good and continued to be so, also with my eyes, that are considerably better, though they still need dripping.

I continue with this for the next month, though some of these may end during the month (namely zinc and B5).

2. Update about
my computer problems

I caused myself - by my own stupidity - serious computer problems on November 24, and had to return to an earlier system, which also involved several problems. Here are two short files about it, from December 5 and December 6.

The update is that the system still works, and is considerably more stable than it was, and is currently updated, all of which is good, and makes me more confident it will keep working, but not all is as should be, and I also do not have all my facilities back.

For one thing, I lack all statistics on the moment, which may mean that I can't make the usual end-of-the-year file.

But for the moment, the computer mostly works and is expected to keep working, which means that in case I stop updating Nederlog it may be because of health- problems (rather than computer problems).
